Ok, I'll be truthful. The bosses in The Guardian Legend are huge, wierd, and hard to kill. That is, if you don't know how. Here you'll find descriptions for all the bosses, where you'll find them, how to kill them, and a NESticle movie showing me blowing the thing to hell. The NESticle movies were made with NESticle 0.42, and the American version of The Guardian Legend. If you don't have the American version, you can download it Here. Defense system: This is the first boss you'll fight. It's a large array of guns, that shoot rotating bullets at you. Where you'll find him: Starting Corridor, Main How to kill him: Try to even the damage off to one side, so you don't have a storm of bullets from one side. You'll kill him eventually. Blue Fleepa: Fleepa is a giant fish, that dives up and down, throwing little squids out of it's mouth that chase you around. Where you'll find him: Corridor 1, Water How to kill him: Move out of his way when he dives, and shoot up his squid. They might drop yummy power-ups. Red Fleepa: Red Fleepa is like Blue Fleepa, but he spits out 8 squids instead of 4, and takes longer to kill. Where you'll find him: Corridor 12, Water How to kill him: Move out of his way when he dives, and shoot up his squid. They might drop yummy power-ups. Green Optomon: Optomon is a large ball of seaweed with a big eye in it. It scrolls back and forth, shooting small bullets and drawing long lines of very damaging seaweed. Where you'll find him: Corridor 11, Water How to kill him: Avoid his seaweed at all costs. It'll take off 4 hearts at a time! Blue Optomon: Optomon returns in the forest, with faster seaweed that'll really annoy you. Where you'll find him: Corridor 3, Forest How to kill him: Avoid his seaweed at all costs. Red Optomon: Optomon comes back for one last fight. By now you'll be so powerful in the game killing him shouldn't be as hard as before. His seaweed is so long you may be unable to avoid it. Crawdaddy: Crawdaddy is a giant crab. He's easy to kill if you know how. He'll start off slow, throwing claws at you, and moving back and forth, but will eventually get so fast it's nearly impossible to kill him. Where you'll find him: Corridor 2, Water How to kill him: When you start fighting him, make sure you are directly under him. Choose the Fireball weapon, and sit there firing away. Silver Bombarder: Silver Bombarder is a big robot that teleports around shooting lots of missles. He's very easy to kill. Where you'll find him: Corridor 13, Forest How to kill him: Choose the Saber Lazer. When he teleports and appears again, be right under him, and turn on the saber. This will knock out some of his missles and damage him as well. Keep doing it till he's dead. Don't accidently run into him, he can cause big damage. NESticle saved movie: Click here! |

Red Bombarder: Bombarder comes back for another ass kicking. Where you'll find him: Corridor 19, Wasteland How to kill him: Choose the Saber Lazer. Green Clawbot: Strangley enough, Green Clawbot is easier to kill than Silver Clawbot even though he appears later in the game. Red Clawbot: Just when you forgot about him, Clawbot comes back, and this time he's REALLY P.Oed. Where you'll find him: Corridor 20, Wasteland How to kill him: Choose the Saber Lazer and zap his claws, avoiding them when he opens them up to fire. When they fall off, keep shooting him and his missles, and avoiding his lazer until he dies. Avoiding his lazer is harder this time, because he literally goes bezerk and doesn't stop firing. Teramute: Teramute is a giant dragon looking thing that spits fire in multiple directions, teleporting around. Another easy to kill boss. Where you'll find him: Corridor 4, Forest How to kill him: Choose the Saber Lazer. When he teleports and appears again, be right under him, and turn on the saber. Glider: This is a boss not listed in the manual. He flies around in a pattern, stopping to open fire on you with some fast missles. He can only be shot when he's firing missles. Where you'll find him: Corridor 6, Crystal How to kill him: Choose the Saber Lazer. When he fires at you from the top of the screen, be right under him, and turn on the saber. Eyeball Growth 1: This is an odd boss. It's a big growth of eyeballs. Each eyeball spits out eyes at you. Blue Grimgrin: Grimgrin is, according to me, one of the most disgusting bosses I've ever had the pleasure to witness. It flies around, shooting out eyeballs, still grinning even though you've blown half it's face off, and when you finally bust it's last eyeball, literally hundreds of eyes and bullets pour out of the open wound like a fountian. True inspiration! Where you'll find him: Corridor 18, Organic How to kill him: Grimgrin is not easy to kill. You'll need to have collected alot of power-ups before you face him. When you start off, fly around him, and shoot when nessecary. Choose Fireballs and use them to fry him and blow up his eyeballs for power-ups. Once you kill his last eye, keep using Fireballs if you actually want to get a shot in on him. He'll finally die after a long battle. NESticle saved movie: Click here! |

Red Grimgrin: Hoo boy. You thought Blue Grimgrin was bad. This monster makes me sweat every time I fight him. You'll need to be REALLY good to kill him. Where you'll find him: Corridor 8, Organic How to kill him: You'll need to have collected alot of power-ups before you face him. When you start off, fly around him, and shoot when nessecary. Blue Eyegore: Blue Eyegore flies up and down in a straight line, laying down lazer beams in front of your path, and shooting off skulls. It: The nastiest of nasties. The final boss is really tough to kill. Where you'll find him: Corridor 21, Main How to kill him: It goes through 3 stages-Green, Orange, and Red. In each stage he throws more stuff at you. Try using the Fireball, and shooting him in the side, while trying to dodge his claws. Shoot his missles for heatlh.
