One thing consistently annoys me about later arcade games. They end. Remember when games like Robotron and Defender let you play forever if you were good enough?

There's only one way I want to see a game over message, and that's if I died. If I complete the game, then I want bells, whistles, confetti, kisses from pretty lassies, hero-worship on the streets, being carried around on people's shoulders, champagne, the lot.

Well, not really. Unless I have picked this up totally wrongly, it seems like even if you use continues (which I did for the purpose of getting pics) your score still accumulates, making the whole score issue useless. So, this means that basically the richest player can get the highest score, not necessarily the one which played best. Why??

Hey, you'll notice the accuracy scores are still quite respectable, even with me trying to get grabs at the same time.

Thankfully, you have caught up with the missiles, and averted the blowing up of several farms and outbuildings by shooting them down as the credits roll. Not a long and detailed end sequence, but at least its better than 'CONGRATURATIONS!!'
