- the Boss Rush. It's all of the old Parodius baddies, and they're
pissed.

If you're playing in one-player mode, you have to beat this area
without dying AT ALL if you want to get the good ending. Yipes.
This old Gokujyou Parodius boss will actually power you up for the
battle ahead. |

See,
each time you kill a bad guy, it knocks the tiles off in the background!
The old pirate-bird ain't too hard either. |

neither is the Uncle Sam bird. |

...and the lips too. Sheesh.

[This
boss has qualities of the bosses you just fought - she does the
chain of powerups the Pillow does, the Bald Eagle Ripple Laser,
and those angels do the formations of the Pirate Bird and the Lips.

is the final boss of the area, who will also shoot power-ups amidst
her deadly kisses and ripple lasers. |
